Under 9A Girls - Nico Severini:
Nick is the head coach for Lower Merion High School boys varsity, the 2010 District One Champions.
Before coaching at LMHS, Nick was head coach for the
Plymouth-Whitemarsh Boys Varsity. As a youth, Nick was on the Region One USA team and in the National team pool. In high school, Nick
was voted the Central League Player Of The Year and was a high school regional All-American
and All-State selection. Nick has trained internationally in Sevilla (Spain) and Independiente and Liniers (Argentina).
As a youth player, his FC Delco club team qualified
for nationals three times. He was a four year player at the University of Pennsylvania (Ivy League champions).
Nick is also a head coach for the EPYSA Olympic Development Program.
Under 9B Girls - George Severini
George coaches the varsity at Waldron Mercy Academy. George played at the division one level in college. In high school, George
was Central League MVP and earned All State honors as well as Regional All American honors. George also played for several
clubs in Argentina.
Under 9C Girls - Michael Potter
Michael played soccer in high school and in adult leagues. He has coached with LMSC since 2001 and has coached in
both the intramural and travel programs of various ages, both girls and boys teams.
He won Coach of the Year honors in 2008. His teams have won many tournaments and his U-13 team
won a 2008 PAGS League Division Championship. In 2011, his U-16 team that was pushed up to a U-17
division went undefeated in the PAGS Fall Season. Michael has attended many courses with well regarded s
occer organizations. He has earned both Pennsylvania and Connecticut State E Licenses,
the Advanced Regional Diploma and National Diploma with the National Soccer Coaches Association of
America (NSCAA) as well as their Goalkeeping I Diploma.
