July 3, 2019 - Congratulations to the LMSC Storm, our U-19A girls travel team, on reaching the finals of the Region One Championships. Regionals is competed for by the state champions from Maine through West Virginia. The Storm won their bracket and advanced to the Region One semifinals where they defeated Maryland United (the Maryland state champions) 3-0. The win put them into the championship game against Princeton (New Jersey state champions) with the winning team earning a trip to Nationals. Unfortunately, Princeton was able to get the victory over the Storm.

Congratulations to coaches Pete Gangl and Dan Mouw, along with all of the Storm players on not only a great U-19 season, but a great 10+ years in LMSC. The entire club wishes the girls the best of luck as they head off to college in the fall with almost all of the girls playing college soccer next year.
