LMSC LEGENDS (U-12A BOYS) TAKE SECOND
PLACE IN THE ATLANTIC PREMIER LEAGUE

November 15, 2015 - The LMSC Legends, our U-12A boys team, took second place in the Atlantic Premier League, losing the championship game in penalty shots to Real New Jersey Spurs. The APL consists of many of the top teams in Eastern Pennsylvaniva, mid-New Jeresy, Delaware and Maryland.

The Legends won their quarterfinal playoff game 2-0 over Penn Fusion to advance to the semifinals where they defeated Harleysville 5-2. That put the team into the championship game where they faced the Real New Jersey Spurs. The Legends had a 2-0 lead with less than 10 minutes left in the game when Real stormed back with two goals of their own to force overtime.

Neither team was able to score in overtime so the game was decided on penalty kicks with Real coming out on top to claim the championship. The Legends, despite never trailing in the game, took second place. Congratulations to head coach Jared Harris and the Legends on a great fall season.
