LMSC LOS TOROS (U-11C BOYS) ARE
FINALISTS IN DELCO LEAGUE

November 7, 2015 - The LMSC Los Toros finished a great Delco fall regular season with a record of 7-1-1. The team made the playoffs with their first game away at FC Revolution in Reading, PA. The boys dominated the entire game and created numerous scoring chances. Defender Jack Forman started the scoring 15 minutes into the game with a beautiful free kick from 18 yards out that hit the upper left corner. He then struck again 8 minutes later from almost the exact same spot and placed the ball in the upper corner again. Jack finished a third goal in the second half on a penalty kick to seal the win, 3-1.

The finals was a hard fought match against the Parkland Predators. Los Toros went down early on an own goal then conceded a second goal 5 minutes later. Liam Mcgow struck first for Los Toros with a darting run and confident strike that found the back of the net. Later Jaden Mayer put himself in a scoring position on the back post, remained composed and scored a second goal for Los Toros. In the second half Parkland scored the go ahead goal, but again the boys fought back. With only minutes remaining in the game Jordan Pearl hit a fantastic shot to tie the game. The game was then pushed to overtime where Los Toros hit the post 2 times, but eventually conceded a goal in transition. After a great battle it was a heart breaking loss for Los Toros, 4-3.

Congratulations to Los Toros for an exceptional fall season. They showed tremendous heart, perseverance and vast improvement as both a team and as individuals.
