HAMMERHEADS BACK TOGETHER FOR A REUNION GAME

November 30, 2014 - The LMSC Hammerheads got together for a reunion game on November 30. Now 24 years of age, the boys (men) showed that some were still in playing shape while others found that corporate life left them in less than ideal shape to play soccer.

The Hammerheads won the seven state championship during their time together, twice playing for the national championship. When they were Under 11, they played up a year and won the Under 12 Delco League division one championship, defeating the LMSC Natural Disasters, 2-1 in overtime.

Greg Cochrane is now in his second year in the MLS. He played for the Los Angeles Galaxy in 2013 and now plays for the Chicago Fire. He started 12 games during the 2014 season. Long time Hammerheads star Alec Weiss is now in his fourth year coaching at LMSC. Alec is the head coach for the LMSC Berserkers (U-8A boys) and assistant coach for the LMSC Sabertooth Rats (U-14A boys).
