November 09, 2013 -
In the 78th minute of the Division 6 U11 Delco Championship, Noah Lindeman knocked in the the game's only goal and the Limitless held on to
capture the Division 6 title. The weekend began with the third seeded Limitless beating the Aston Rage 5 to 1.
The Limitless were excellent in all phases of the game in beating Aston and advancing to the championship game.
In the championship game, the Limitless faced the Colonial Crew, which had not lost all season.
In the opening minutes, the Limitless faced an onslaught by the Crew, but the boys stayed poised and were able to stay level.
The game saw outstanding soccer from both teams and remained tied through the 60 minute regulation.
Neither team scored during the first 10 minute overtime. Then in 8th minute of the second overtime, Lindeman won the game with a great heads up goal.
The entire team had a great championship, but it was the outstanding goalkeeping of Drew Loughnane that kept the Limitless in the championship game
and elevated them to Division Champions. Congratulations to all the coaches and boys for all their hard work and achievements this season.
