May 27, 2013 - The Lower Merion Motor Mouths won the Players Cup Memorial Day Weekend Tournament, held in Downingtown. The team opened up with a 4-1 win over Philadelphia Soccer Club, the PA State Cup Finalists. The team finished up with a 2-0 win in the championship game over a very skilled Fishtown Hotspurs team. Fishtown won the state championship two weeks before.

The tournament championship brought to an end a very successful season for the Motor Mouths. The team won many competitons, including the following:

• May, 2013: FC Delco Players Cup Memorial Day Tournament
• February, 2013: Indoor State Cups
• January, 2013: YSC Indoor League (playing up a year at U-10)
• November, 2012: Delco League Division One
• October, 2012: Philadelphia Union Columbus Day Tournament
• September, 2013: Ross Haney Labor Day Tournament
