The LMSC Motor Mouths (our Under 9A boys travel team) played in the 1st Annual Philadelphia Union Predators Columbus Day Weekend Tournament, held in West Chester. The Motor Mouths won
all four games, three by shutout. On Saturday, the Motor Mouths played two VERY talented teams, defeating Lehigh Valley United 2-0 and Real Medford (New Jersey) 3-2. On Sunday, the
Motor Mouths defeated West-Mont United 5-0 to advance to the championship game.
The championship game saw the Motor Mouths go up against PA Classics from Lancaster. Despite dominating the first half, the Motor Mouths were unable to score and it was 0-0 at halftime.
The second half proved different as LMSC put three balls into the back of the net to earn a 3-0 shutout win and the tournament championship.
LMSC's Sebastian Tis was voted the tournament MVP and won an autographed Philadelphia Union jersey, presented by Philadelphia Union player Chandler Hoffman.
