February 25, 2012 - For the second year in a row, the LMSC Sabertooth Rats and the LMSC Quick Boys met in the championship game of their age group's indoor state cups. Both teams were a perfect 4-0 going into the Under 11 Boys indoor cup finals. The Sabertooth Rats defeated PA Nike Rush 6-0, Methacton Galaxy 6-0 and FC Revolution 5-4 in bracket play while the Quick Boys defeated Coventry FC Venom 8-3, FC York Elite 5-1 and Montgomery ManU 8-1.

In the semifinals, the Sabertooth Rats defeated Lehigh Valley 6-3 and the Quick Boys defeated Ukrainian Nationals 5-0. These victories for the LMSC teams forced a rematch from last year's indoor state cup championship game where the two teams went head to head in the final game.

The championship game was another excellent one with both teams playing solid defense while generating good scoring opportunities. At the end of the game, the Sabertooth Rats emerged on top, 3-0, to win their third straight indoor state championship. The Sabertooth Rats have also won three straight Delco League division one championships in their three year history.

A special congratulations to the Quick Boys and their head coach Matt Cox on another great showing in the indoor state cups and congratulations to the Sabertooth Rats on their third indoor cup championship.
