October 16, 2011 - The STORM U-11 Girls went to the WAGS tournament Columbus Day weekend and left as finalist. Easily winning three group play games and outscoring the opponents 13-1, and taking first in the group, advancing to a semi final game with the Richmond Strikers. The STORM came out on top with a 2-1 victory. This would set up a final with Severna on Monday morning.

Unfortunately Severna Scored on a restart just outside the penalty area. The STORM fought hard creating many chances, The Severna keeper made big saves, and the STORM dropped the final 1-0. Although they didn't come up with the final result they wanted. It was a good experience for all STORM players involved.
