June 19, 2011 - Congratulations to the LMSC Velez, our Under 19 boys team who won the Under 19 state cups, beating arch rival Yardley-Makefield Xplosion 4-1 in the championship game. The Velez advance to the Regional Championships in July. Regionals is a tournament comprised of all state champions from Maine through West Virginia and the winner advancing to Nationals.

This is the third state championship for the Velez as the also won state cups at Under 12 and Under 16. The Velez have been coached by Miguel Nuila since they were Under 8. Nuila also coached the LMSC Sarsfield, our U-9A boys team, to the semifinals of their state cup competition.
