May 14, 2011 - The LMSC Denali, our U-11A boys competed in the state cups and finished as runners-up in the 30 team competition. This is the second time in the past three years that the Denali have come in second place in the state cups. In preliminary round play, Denali defeated FC York 4-0, North Union 2-0 and tied Lower Dauphin (Harrisburg) 2-2. This put them into the semifinals where they defeated Lehigh Valley United by the score of 2-0.

The championship game was played against the Spirit United Sol with the Denali coming out on the short end of a 2-1 score. Congratulations to head coach Will Nord and the rest of the Denali team on another great season.
