January 27, 2011 - LMSC Herricanes took to the indoor game with an outdoor game style at YSC playing in the U9 age group.  Finishing the regular season with only two losses, they came into the playoffs determined to exact revenge on the teams that beat them.  They needed sudden death overtime to beat Teysa’s A team with a game winning goal by Hannah Brainsky off of a rebound from Caroline Blackman’s shot.  Teresa Cato, Bridget Tucker and Amelia Leyden all contributed strong efforts in the goal. 

Teresa Cato, Rena Contract and Abby Rorke all played strong defense.  The midfield of Izzy MacFarland, Natalie Pansini, Brynne Menen, Bridget Tucker, Allison Schwab, Caroline Blackman and Hannah Brainsky provided a potent offense and relentless pressure on the opponents all night.
