May 3, 2008 - Congratulations to the LMSC Fightin' Freedom who reached the semifinals of the Under 11 EPYSA State Cups. The team, coached by Danielle Fagan, won their preliminary round games and advanced to the knockout stage of the state cups.

In preliminary round action, the Fightin' Freedom defeated their four opponents by the combined score of 14-0 as they defeated FC Revolution Blackhawks 2-0, Philadelphia Soccer Club Spurs 2-0, Buckingham Lightning 3-0 and the Quakertown Wildcats 7-0.

This put the team into the state cup quarterfinals where they defeated Lehigh Valley United 2-1. The Fightin' Freedom advanced to the semifinals where they were defeated by a very tough Spirit United team. Congratulations to the girls on a tremendous run in the 2008 state cups.
