The Lower Merion Soccer Club is looking for non-parent soccer coaches (meaning that you are not the parent of a player on the team that you would be coaching) to coach in our Travel Team Program. Qualified coaches should have had a significant background as a soccer player and have coached soccer before. LMSC is looking for head coaches, assistant coaches and part time trainers for their various travel teams. Non-Parent coaches are paid by the individual teams, not by LMSC. Salary is based on previous soccer background (both playing and coaching) and is negotiated between the team and the coach. LMSC will attempt to help place qualified coaches on teams that are looking for a coach and match the desired level that the coach is interested in working with. Those interested in applying to coach an LMSC Travel Team should send a brief soccer resume to LMSC Club President Biff Sturla at lmsc@netreach.net. Be sure to indicate if you have a preference for a particular age group range, whether you prefer to coach boys teams or girls teams, 'A' level teams or non 'A' level teams, etc. LMSC will attempt to place qualified coaches with teams in need of coaches.
