If you are interested in working this fall in any of these positions, please fill an online application. Applications should be received no later than August 10th. The intramural season will begin on Saturday, September 6th and run through November 9th. Games will be played every Saturday during that time period. There will be a limited number of Sunday games as well. Referees will NOT have to be available each week. They will only be asked to work on days that their personal schedule permits them. LEVEL 3 REFEREES - Must be at least 17 years of age OR be at least 15 years of age with a minimum of two years of referee experience. Level 3 Referees will be used for games in our 9-13 year old divisions. Level 3 referees are paid $14 a game. Games will be primarily played on Saturdays (with some Sunday games) and last one hour. Games are at several different locations. LEVEL 2 REFEREES - Must be at least 13 years of age OR be at least 11 years of age with a minimum of one season of referee experience. Level 2 Referees will be used for games in our 6-8 year old divisions. Level 2 referees are paid $12 a game. Games will be primarily played on Saturdays (with some Sunday games) and last one hour. Games are at several different locations. LEVEL 1 REFEREES - Must be at least 11 years of age with a minimum of two years of playing experience. No prior referee experience is necessary. Level 1 Referees will be used for games in our 4-5 year old divisions. These games pay $10.00 per session (each session is approximately 70 minutes long). These referees will also be expected to help the coaches teach the basic skills and tactics of the game to the players as well as help with the skills clinic held at the start of each session. All games for level 1 referees will be at Gladwyne Playground. There will be games on Saturdays and Sundays. ALL Referees will be expected to dress in soccer attire and must provide their own whistle. The referee assignor will call referees each Thursday to find out which referees are available for that weekend. Rules and regulations will be forwarded to the referees. Referees will need to pass a written test at the Annual Referees Meeting before the start of the season.
We will have a Head Field Crew person at each of our fields. The Field Crew head will call people on the field crew list to help complete their work. If you are interested in any of these positions, please return the enclosed application form by August 10th.
