LMSC PRESIDENT BIFF STURLA LOOKS BACK ON HIS 30 YEARS COACHING AT LMSC
The 2011 / 2012 season marks LMSC President Biff Sturla's 30th year coaching in the club. Before coaching in LMSC, Biff played in the club for several years.
In marking his 30 years of coaching in LMSC, Biff has written this paper which is a collection of articles dealing with how different facets of
youth soccer in our community and the nation have changed during that time.
While LMSC has grown and changed during those years, so too has our society with respect to how youth sports are organized and how they are
viewed in our society. The culture of youth soccer and youth sports in general
has changed a lot during the past 30 years. This paper is Biff's views on the many
changes that have taken place during that time.
